Morden Tower has been an unusual, but internationally important poetry venue in the North East of England since 1964. In 1990 Bloodaxe Publishers printed an anthology of poets who had read at the Tower, of which William's poetry was a part. This anthology was featured on the Radio 4 programme Kaleidoscope on 30/5/90. (NB I understand the Tower now has a toilet!)
